Teenager Moana is a seafaring wayfinder for her community and unexpectedly receives an urgent call from her elders through a vision. She must travel across the ocean and help the demigod Maui. Moana is a beloved Disney ‘anti-princess’ and the sequel leans into the depictions of Polynesian culture.
