Jessica van Vonderen is the Queensland anchor of ABC TV’s flagship 7pm news program. The award-winning journalist been an integral part of ABC Queensland since 1999, working across TV, radio and online.
As a former political reporter, she has been involved in the ABC’s coverage of every Queensland election since 2004. Reporting from bureaus in Toowoomba, Bundaberg, Brisbane, Darwin and Canberra, she’s covered some of the country’s biggest stories in recent years including floods, fires and cyclones.
Jessica is a former host of the Stateline and 7.30 Queensland programs.
