Explore the fascinating world of space robotics with SpaceBot Science at the Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium’s Cosmic Skydome. Launch into an immersive journey through the fascinating realm of modern mechatronics and space discovery.
How do space robots gather and analyse data on remote worlds? How have ancient automatons shaped modern science?
The inextricable link between astronomy and technology enables us to take science out of this world!
This program explores Science understanding (Year 7-10), Science as a human endeavour (Year 7-10)

In this activity, students participate in a community of inquiry to consider the implications of human space travel. This process gives students an opportunity to come to a full, shared understanding of the concepts and issues around human space travel.
Within this ‘out of this world’ resource, students can explore how far we have come in travel and exploration and investigate the conditions on Earth, and look to the future to determine the perfect planet and shelter design for Australia’s extra-terrestrial base.
