Exploring Corals

Sat, 30 May
9am - 3pm

Immerse yourself in the magical and crucial world of corals with CoralWatch.

Coral reefs are one of Earth’s most extraordinary ecosystems, and one of its most threatened. Join CoralWatch, a citizen science initiative from The University of Queensland, to discover how a simple colour chart can help monitor reef health worldwide. The Coral Health Chart is an easy, non-invasive tool that empowers anyone — from experienced divers to curious first-timers — to track coral colour as an indicator of reef health.

Whether you’re planning a dive or staying on dry land, there’s a meaningful way for you to get involved and make a difference.
