ARTIFICIAL ECOLOGY is a digital ecosystem comprising of movable 3D augmented reality organisms. By tapping and dragging on device screens, users can move the organisms toward each other and their close proximity will trigger various events; changing colours, pulsing, deforming and emitting ambient sounds. Some organisms will emit light and their light will thrust other organisms into animation. Another organism will emit particles of water, which will trigger others to grow and transform.
ARTIFICIAL ECOLOGY encourages visitors to work collaboratively to create different configurations of organisms, discovering how the organisms react to one another and what configuration makes their ecosystem thrive.
EyeJack brings art to life with animation and sound. They work with creative technologists, elite artists, animators and musicians from around the world to create unique experiences.
