Created by: Clayton Blake From: Brisbane QLD, Australia

MICROBIOTA is a representational depiction of the micro-organisms that live in and around us.

Microbiota are ecological communities of commensal, symbiotic and pathogenic microorganisms found in and on all multicellular organisms from plants to animals and of course humans. Trillions of microbes are living in and on your body right now. Most don’t harm you at all. In fact, they help you digest food, protect against infection and even maintain your reproductive health.

You are encouraged to climb and explore this artwork while learning about the significant role microbiota play in our lives.

Created from repurposed slide sections the materials will be 100% recycled at the end of the artwork’s lifespan.
