Insect Investigators is a powerful new national citizen science initiative, where scientists and regional schools have joined forces to record Australia’s amazing insect biodiversity! Students will love learning all about it from Andy Howe, University of the Sunshine Coast, and Erinn Fagan-Jeffries, University of Adelaide. This show also features an exciting showcase of Queensland Museum’s entomology collection. Our insect experts will share their knowledge of Australia’s insects and the current research taking place at Queensland Museum.
World Science Festival Brisbane 2023 School Program is presented with QPAC.
Entomologist and science communicator Dr Erinn Fagan-Jeffries specialises in the taxonomy of parasitoid wasps, which lay their eggs on or in the bodies of other insects.
