WSFQ Townsville Student Day is designed to engage students in stimulating and inspiring experiences that showcase careers in STEM, including discussions with scientists, hands-on activities and exciting science shows.
Students will explore STEM through self-led exploration, giving them access to hands-on science activities, real life scientists and fascinating displays. The day will also include pop-up science shows and inspiring talks from STEM Professionals showcasing STEM careers and career pathways.

Museum-wide Science Activities: 10.15am-11.15am

Superfun Science Show: 11am-11.45am
Museum-wide Science Activities: 11.45am-12.45pm
Session 3 Mixed grades with High School focus

Ignite your students’ love for STEM and make your school group booking today, spaces are limited.
At each World Science Festival Queensland school session, students will enjoy fun science shows, a variety of tailored activities, action-packed demonstrations and will be encouraged to move around the venue to explore hands-on activities with robots, VR and all kinds of tech. As well as enjoying the museum itself!
Length of visit is usually around 2 hours for each school session. Schools can book into any one of the three sessions across the day noting that typically younger grades are booked in the morning sessions.
