As students embark on a journey into a futuristic Asian night market, where bats are extinct, they are invited to explore what resourcefulness and creative food solutions might look like, in the not-so-distant future.
Designed for curious minds, Bat Night Market is a FREE, drop-in experience that blends science, art and innovation, inspiring students to think critically and boldly about sustainability and wildlife conservation.
Bat Night Market is an international collaboration between artist Kuang-Yi Ku, Taiwan/Netherlands and designer Robert Johnson, UK
Original production co-commissioned by LIFT and Taipei Performing Arts Centre, and presented at Science Gallery London part of King’s College London and Taipei Performing Arts Centre.
