Build an innovative and sustainable future in this hands-on, interactive workshop led by LEGO® Masters and experienced science communicator Jess Heinemann! Using the power of LEGO®, students will explore the creative world of design thinking by analysing real needs and opportunities, developing design criteria with sustainability in mind, and applying innovation and enterprise skills to bring their ideas to life.
Students will work together to discover how play can fuel problem-solving, as they brainstorm, prototype, test, iterate and refine unique designs.
Guided by expert storytelling and practical challenges, they will learn to manage time, resources and production plans, before communicating and sharing their designs.
This engaging session builds confidence, collaboration and creativity while directly linking to the Australian Curriculum in Design and Technologies.
