Place, Connection and Construction

Get ready for an exciting adventure with TribalLink at the World Science Festival Brisbane!

This hands-on program will immerse students in the fascinating world of First Nations maps, uncovering the stories behind significant places and their cultural importance. Learn about the history of Grinding Groves in Landsborough and discover how stone axes were used in daily life.

Students will see how environmental cues, like flowering plants or bird behaviours, signal the right time to gather food or build with natural materials.

This unique experience blends science, culture, and creativity, while meeting key curriculum outcomes.
