Although Queensland Museum Rail Workshops is temporarily closed to the public due to storm damage sustained in October 2025, we have good news. The area hosting World Science Festival Brisbane’s Robots and Rocketry will proceed as planned in the Moving Goods Annex and surrounding outdoor areas, which was unaffected. Visitors can also enjoy our unique and expansive outdoor spaces, included with their ticket. Museum collections and indoor exhibitions remain closed while remediation works continue.
