James Cook University will host an engaging stall showcasing study and career pathways in science, with a strong focus on opportunities in northern Australia and the tropics.
Staffed by student ambassadors and academic lead Professor Alana Grech, the stall will provide personalised advice on JCU’s science programs, student experience, and diverse career options in fields such as environmental science, earth science, marine and tropical biology, and sustainability.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore course offerings, speak directly with current students, and gain insight into “a day in the life” of a scientist. The stall will feature interactive displays, study guides, and a visual media reel highlighting research, fieldwork, and student life at JCU.
