World Science Festival Queensland’s education program for primary and secondary students is designed to engage students in stimulating and inspiring experiences that showcase careers in STEM, including discussions with scientists, hands-on activities and exciting science shows. Get ready, Ipswich! The free World Science Festival Queensland Community Day is returning to Queensland Museum Rail Workshops on Saturday 20 July. The Community Day is an interactive, family-friendly roadshow, offering a jam-packed program of explosive live demonstrations, hands-on activities and loads of cool science.

Meet live animals with the Wild Rangers Wildlife Encounters, see awesome experiments with the Wonder of Science Flying Scientist, and dive into a virtual underwater world with Salty Sharks. Plus, design and launch your very own air-powered rockets with iLAuCH Trailblazer!

The 2024 World Science Festival Queensland Ipswich Community Day offers all of this and more.
