2025 Activity Expression of Interest
As part of World Science Festival Brisbane’s 10th anniversary, we’re celebrating science across the greater Brisbane community.
We invite local organisations to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for activities that profile Queensland research and innovation, highlight Queensland’s unique nature and biodiversity, encourage community participation, and are accessible and inclusive.
Activities can include Labs Unlocked: Lab tours and experiences, Citizen science projects, and other STEM activities eg. workshops.
Activities are to be located in the greater Brisbane area, and within the festival dates: 21-30 March 2025.

Overview
World Science Festival Brisbane will be presented over ten days from 21 to 30 March 2025.
STEM-based organisations, institutions and community groups are invited to submit an EOI to propose an activity for the festival.
As part of your participation, the festival will provide:
1. A dedicated event page on the festival website
2. Signage for your activity
3. Ticketing arrangements for Labs Unlocked
4. An Activity Provider Agreement outlining the details and terms of participation
What is involved
As part of your participation as an activity provider, you will be responsible for:
1. Organising and operating your activity at your own location/venue
2. Providing a title, description, and image for the activity
3. Maintaining public liability insurance for your activity and providing a valid certificate of currency
4. Providing risk assessment and safety information
5. Returning the signed Activity Provider Agreement
6. For those managing their own ticketing, opportunity to share WSFB survey with attendees/ticket holders within one week of the end of the festival
