Angel Strings is string quartet with a rich classical repertoire and a reputation for edgy pop/rock renditions. They’ve played at Brisbane City Hall, the Brisbane Powerhouse, Woodford Folk Festival, on SBS TV, at the Melbourne Fringe and to tens of thousands as part of the Candlelight Concerts series.
Angel Strings have performed locally and overseas with Opera Queensland, Queensland Theatre, Archie Roach, Guy Sebastian and iconic Persian artist Moein. Individual ‘Angels’ have performed with the Queensland and Melbourne Symphony Orchestras and shared the stage with Nigel Kennedy, Pavarotti, Kanye West and Eminem.
They’ve somehow also featured in the latest Supercheap Auto ad, and in Dubai fashion magazine ‘Mojeh’!
