Arabella Douglas

Arabella Douglas is a Minyungbal Bundjalung woman working across law, international policy, and environmental economies, guided by Country and Sovereign Knowledge.

 

She leads Currie Country Social Change, a First Nations–led organisation advancing Indigenous ecological governance at the intersection of climate science, economics and law.

 

Since 2022, her work has focused on climate urgency, international engagement, and the design of nature and natural resource markets grounded in Indigenous authority.

 

Trained in law, international law, and economics, Arabella advises governments, industry, philanthropy, communities, and women-led climate networks, including FeCC.

 

Her work centres the principle that law and markets must serve nature globally.
