Brooke Witherby holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and Zoology from James Cook University (2015) and has over seven years of experience in the marine mammal field. She spent five years at Sea Life Sydney working with dugongs in human care, focusing on enrichment and operant conditioning. For the past two and a half years, she has been part of Sea World’s Education team, where she engages the public in marine conservation. Brooke also contributes to Sea World Foundation’s critical research, rescue, and conservation efforts, which include dugong rescue and rehabilitation.
