Dr Bryan Lessard, aka Bry the Fly Guy, is an award-winning entomologist, science communicator and author of the kid’s book Eyes on Flies. Like many, Bry grew up thinking that flies were annoying, until he discovered that maggots could help solve crime and that without flies, there would be no chocolate! Bry has named 50 species new to science, including the fabulous Beyoncé and RuPaul flies. He is passionate about inspiring the next generation of nature-lovers and shares his brilliant bug facts regularly on the ABC and has buzzed onto BBC, CNN, Totally Wild, Ologies and the Graham Norton Show.
