Elizabeth (Liz) Pearce completed a Bachelor of Science with honours majoring in Physics at the University of Newcastle in 2009. She worked at the Bureau of Meteorology in 2010 to categorise space weather effects on the Australian power grid. From 2011 to 2019 Liz worked at Defence Science and Technology Group in the areas of PNT and Autonomy. In late 2019 she transferred to the Australian Space Agency as part of the office of the Chief Technology Officer. Liz is currently the lead for the Space Situational Awareness and Position, Navigation and Timing priority areas.
