Francis Nona is a proud Torres Strait Islander man from Badu Island who has been initiated into manhood through the lore and traditions of his people. Francis is a registered nurse and has a postgraduate degree in Public Health (Majoring in Indigenous Health).
Francis is very passionate about Indigenous health and is looking forward to continuing to positively contribute to health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as he progresses in his professional journey. He strongly believes that Closing the Gap for Indigenous people is everyone’s business.
