Jack Garland

Dr Jack Garland is a specialist forensic pathologist working for Queensland Health. He obtained his medical degree in Newcastle and has worked for both the New South Wales and Queensland coronial systems. He has published over 80 scientific papers and obtained his PhD based on his research into postmortem biochemistry. He has co-authored several textbook chapters, is a reviewer for multiple international scientific journals, and has been an invited speaker at multiple forensic conferences. He has a keen interest in education and runs the only exam preparation course open to forensic pathology trainees across Australasia.
