Dr Jonathan Webb is a science journalist and broadcaster. He grew up in Adelaide and spent a decade of his early career in the UK, including a PhD in neuroscience at Oxford University. Jonathan then left the lab (mostly) behind and became a science reporter for BBC News, covering everything from the Paris climate summit to the New Horizons flyby of Pluto. In 2016, he returned to Australia to run the science unit at ABC RN, where he leads a team of Australia’s best science storytellers across radio, podcasts and the web. Jonathan appears regularly on ABC radio and TV, including on RN Breakfast with Patricia Karvelas.
