Julia Baird
Dr Julia Baird is an award-winning journalist and best-selling author based in Sydney, Australia. She hosts the podcast Not Stupid with Jeremy Fernandez on ABC Listen and her writing has appeared in a range of publications around the world. She has had a wide-ranging career in print and broadcast journalism both in the United States and Australia. Her work has also earned her four Walkley Our Watch Awards. Julia has a BA and PhD in History from Sydney University, the latter also forming the basis of her first book. She hosted the weekly current affairs panel show The Drum for eleven years and outside of work spends as much time in or on the ocean as she can, hunting awe.
