Kirsten Banks
Kirsten Banks is a proud Wiradjuri astrophysicist and science communicator. As a PhD Candidate at UNSW, Kirsten studies stars in the Milky Way galaxy to unveil the history and evolution of our galactic neighbourhood. She is well known for her short educational and entertaining TikTok videos about space and astronomy. As a role model for young aspiring scientists, Kirsten hopes to show young girls and Indigenous students that they can be great scientists and achieve their hopes and dreams.
