Lewis Chambers completed his Bachelor of Science (Hons) at the University of Queensland in 2014, before beginning his PhD at the Australian Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology in 2015 under the supervision of Dr. Yun Huang, A/Prof. Kevin Jack and A/Prof. Idriss Blakey. His PhD focused on the synthesis and characterisation of photo-responsive block copolymers and the use of light to control solid state self-assembly. Following this he moved to the Queensland University of Technology to design degradable polymeric drug delivery systems with A/Prof. Kathryn Fairfull-Smith, and currently he works with Professor Christopher Barner-Kowollik studying the synthesis of sequence-defined polymers.
