Michael Balk

Michael Balk is a highly regarded host, actor, and television & radio presenter. Starting his career as an Oompa Loompa in a theatre production many years ago, the subsequent 20 years’ experience has seen Michael star in musicals, television shows, and even appear on the side of garbage trucks! (That’s really how you know you’ve made it!) Michael stars in the role of scrapboy in world-renowned TV series’ dirtgirlworld and Get Grubby TV. As a regular at the World Science Festival, Fusion on the QPAC Melbourne Street Green may well be Michael’s favourite event yet!
