Natasha Mitchell is a multi-award-winning radio presenter, podcaster, and science journalist. She is host of the ABC Radio’s flagship live events program and podcast Big Ideas, and was founding host and producer of the blockbuster radio show and one of the ABC’s first podcasts, All in the Mind, for a decade. Her journalism has received accolades internationally, including the overall Grand Prize and four Gold World Medals at the New York Radio Festivals, amongst other awards. She has an engineering degree with first class honours, and quit a PhD to run away with a (science) circus as part of a postgraduate diploma in science communication. She has facilitated high profile public forums, including four science dialogues with the Dalai Lama and guests. She loves punk music, plants, possibilities… and dogs.
