Nate Byrne bounces onto our screens each morning as the ABC News Breakfast weather presenter, but behind all of that morning energy is a meteorologist, oceanographer, science communicator and former Navy officer…with dimples. Also, he’s a massive nerd . Fascinated by both the world around us and the amazing people doing good science, Nate loves to learn how everything really works. If you ever try to make small talk with him, avoid asking about how the weather is doing unless you’ve got a lot of spare time – he’ll talk your ear off!
