Peter Tuthill

Peter Tuthill is a professor of Astronomy working at the University of Sydney. He is an expert in making extremely high resolution images of distant celestial objects, and has pioneered new technologies and instruments at observatories around the globe. He has recently also worked on telescopes deployed to space, and is the only Australian with an experiment aboard the James Webb Space Telescope, as well as leading his own Sydney-built space mission for the TOLIMAN telescope. Peter holds degrees in Physics and Astrophysics from Universities in Queensland, ANU and Cambridge.
