Rachel graduated from Griffith University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) majoring in Marine Biology, Wildlife Biology and Environmental Science. Shortly following this she began working at The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries QLD as a Fisheries Scientist in the Fishery Monitoring team. The team helps to monitor the status of fish stocks and the sustainability of fisheries in order to understand the fisheries resources available for current and future generations. Rachel’s role specifically focuses on monitoring recreational fishing pressure in Queensland.
