Robbie is a Professor of Biology at The University of Queensland. His research spans nature and sport to ask: how do individuals use their unique combination of physical traits, behaviour and physiology to achieve success? To answer this question, he works on a wide range of study systems including native marsupials that die from too much sex, crayfish that lie and cheat their way to the top, and elite junior and professional soccer players.
Robbie uses his research to teach about what “success” means and how to achieve it.
