Sammy Herbert

Sammy Herbert is the Head of Developer Experience at SixPivot. Her and her work have won numerous awards from Australian Financial Review’s; Best Places to Work in Technology, Most Outstanding Practice in Diversity & Inclusion and Most Innovative Technology Company. She has consulted with some of the largest companies in Australia including Microsoft and Adobe on inclusive work place practices. She’s often invited to speak at conferences, panels and events on culture and leadership, with her blog pieces published in Noteworthy. She’s judged on various panels and CFP’s and is an organiser for Muses Code JS workshops, Brisbane’s largest coding workshop for women, non-binary and trans folk. In her personal time Sammy moonlights as a breakdancer. She’s won numerous Australian titles and was once interviewed by Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas.
