Stav Davidson

Stav grew up in Glasgow in the suburb of Tory Glen (think Trainspotting without the comedy). His whole family moved to Australia when he was young and Stav started his career as a stand-up comedian in 2000 when he entered the Raw Comedy Competition. He stumbled into the national final and within four weeks was facing an audience of 1500 people. From then on, comedy became his currency.

He admits himself that his transition from stand-up comic into radio announcer was a bit of an accident. He was doing his stand-up and attempting life as a barista when he was tapped on the shoulder to try out the microphone at the then B105, and the rest as they say is history. He is dad to the gorgeous Lorelei (nicknamed Rori), and husband to the amazing fellow comedienne Kat. Disclaimer: Stav has two cats named Spectre and Shaddosh and originally fancied himself as a chef. He is also a nerd, like a cool supa-nova-Doctor-Who-fan kind of nerd.
