Established in 1997, Brisbane-based Topology are leaders in musical creativity, known for their original work, expert collaborations and award-winning music education program. The quintet experiments with surprising combinations of music genres, theatrical staging and cross-artform collaborations to create exciting, thought-provoking music experiences for audiences of all ages, backgrounds and tastes. Nominated for a 2014 ARIA Award (Share House), Topology have released 14 albums, presented an award-winning concert series, and toured nationally and internationally.
Topology includes John Babbage (saxophone), Robert Davidson (bass), Bernard Hoey (viola), Christa Powell (violin), and Therese Milanovic (piano), combining classical training with diverse musical influences to create a distinctive soundscape.
