Warren “Woody” Hoburg was selected by NASA to join the 2017 Astronaut Candidate Class. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Woody has logged 186 days in space, most of it aboard the International Space Station and he has conducted 2 EVAs or “space walks”, totaling 11 hours, 38 minutes.
