    Learning about wildlife conservation has never been more fun as audiences get up-close with some of Australia’s wonderful and unique reptiles. This interactive and fun educational wildlife show teaches awareness and respect of the natural world, as well as learning about the animals’ day-to-day lives and observable features.

    Red Rocket 3 is a high energy, kids music group specialising in rocket loads of sing-a- longs, interactive games, laughter, dancing and just plain fun! Three musical explorers, one rocket and a heap of fun! Drums, keyboards, guitar and harmonies will get your feet tapping and your body grooving. Explore life through music with Red Rocket 3!

    A career in STEM can take you to some extraordinary places and epic adventures to uncover the mysteries of our amazing planet. More than experiments in labs or reviewing samples, the world of STEM offers incredible variety in activity and interests. Showcasing a variety of STEM and industry professionals, Epic Science Adventures will demonstrate to students the real-world inspirational jobs that show there’s no limit to where they might go and what they can do!

  • Fizo the Robot Dog

    Fizo is a four-legged walking robot dog that can move about in the real world tackling uneven terrain, climbing stairs, avoiding obstacles, as well as fetching his bone! See, watch and interact with Fizo and discover how robots can help society.

  • CSIRO INVESTIGATE Container

    Ride the waves in an Antarctic storm, fly through the atmosphere on a data-stream and dive into the abyss to uncover the mysteries of the deep.

    Join us aboard Australia’s advanced blue-water research vessel, RV Investigator, without getting your feet wet. Investigate is a self-contained immersive cinema experience housed in a re-purposed shipping container. The container’s roof and two sides are equipped with video walls and a state-of-the-art sound system.

    Investigate invites people to dive a little deeper and discover the capabilities, missions and discoveries of RV Investigator.

  • Engineering: Safeguard the past and built the future - Webuild

    Drop into the Webuild activation to discover the incredible ways engineering is used around the world to safeguard the past and build the future. Explore exhibits with activities for all ages and unlock your inner engineer.

Webuild, and its Australian business, Clough, have delivered challenging, complex and rewarding projects in Queensland for over 50 years; together they are committed to supporting the future of the state, its communities, and people.

  • QUT Sports Tech Van

    QUT will bring esports and virtual sports activities to regional Queensland, with the launch of a high-tech van loaded with esports, virtual sport and broadcasting equipment. The van will provide opportunities to participate in esports infused with technology. Esports, virtual cycling, reaction training, simulated golf, smart-tech and wearables, broadcasting and performance analytics will be wrapped into the suite of activities delivered.

  • QIMR Berghofer Mozzie Lab

    Since 1945, the Queensland Institute of Medical Research, now QIMR Berghofer, has worked to improve the lives of people locally, and across the globe – driving better health outcomes through impactful medical research. The Institute has earned its place among Australia’s top medical research institutes with an enviable reputation for ground-breaking and transformative health discoveries.

    Our Mozzie Lab stand will provide WSF attendees with an opportunity to engage with QIMR Berghofer’s latest mosquito-related research through a range of interactive displays. Audiences will be able to see, touch and digitally engage with research that links directly to life in Queensland.

  • Sport Science Testing - Queensland Academy of Sport

    Established in 1991, the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is the Queensland Government’s high-performance sports agency responsible for preparing Queensland elite athletes, teams and coaches for world class success. The QAS has a Vision of “Inspiring Extraordinary Sporting Success”. Currently more than 750 athletes are supported on their elite sporting journey from talented juniors to Olympic, Paralympic and World Championship medallists. This is through in-house squad programs, partnership programs with State and National Sporting Organisations, and scholarships for individuals on medal-winning trajectories. QAS primarily provides performance support through sport science, performance health, strength and conditioning, and athlete wellbeing & engagement.

  • Straw Bridge Build - Engineers Australia

    As Australia’s national body for engineering, Engineers Australia are the voice and champion of their 120,000-plus members. Providing them with the resources, connections and growth they need to do ethical, competent and high-value work in our communities.

    It’s inspiring promising student engineers. Opening doors for graduates and setting them up for success. Enriching the skill sets of engineering professionals at every stage of their career, helping them learn, discover and fulfil their potential.

    Join the fun as you build a bridge using straws and your choice of connector (eg rubber bands, string and celotape) which will be weight bearing tested. See if your bridge can hold the most weight to win a prize. At least 2 prizes to be won daily!

    Can you build a “car” with some straws & cardboard that is balloon-powered and will go the distance? The car that travels the furthest balloon-powered distance will win a prize. At least 2 prizes to be won daily!

  • Salty Sharks

    Aquatic Metaverse (home of the Salty Sharks) is an education and entertainment brand focused on marine species conservation, specifically for sharks, rays, turtles. We develop advanced virtual and interactive education resources that greatly enhance the modern student’s engagement, information retention and enthusiasm for animal biology and ethology for both terrestrial and marine species.

    Our aquarium-based exhibits bring the aquarium into the classroom or home, allowing access for all to what is otherwise a very limited excursion opportunity. Through self-paced learning and gamification, students can customise their own virtual world avatar and explore exhibits that showcase a species in its natural environment as well as provides up to date information and research findings. The Exhibits are regularly updated, can include short term customisation to suit an individual School’s curriculum and students also have the option of completing a beginner’s guide to marine biology with exam and certificate of completion, courtesy of our conservation partner.

  • Wild Rangers Wildlife Encounters

    Wild Rangers Wildlife Encounters is dedicated to educating children and adults, spreading the conservation message. We have many years experience in working with Wildlife and educating both children and adults on the importance of conservation and protecting our amazing native animals and their habitats. We have an understanding of and an ability to relate well to children, giving them an experience they will never forget.

  • Native & Pest Fish Education Display - Freshwater Fishing and Stocking Association

    The Freshwater Fishing & Stocking Association’s Native & Pest Fish Education Display will have on show Australian native fish in the display, these two fish are several native fish that are stocked in Queensland waterways.

    The display will also have two pest fish, (Common Carp & Mozambique Tilapia) that are now prevalent in many Queensland waterways, these pest fish must not be returned to the water but disposed of humanely.

  • Ignite Excellence Academy - Ripley Valley State Secondary College

    Join Ripley Valley State Secondary College’s Ignite Excellence Academy in exploring the living water in our local waterways. You’ll have the chance to meet some of the macroinvertebrates living alongside us, test the pH of local water sources and understand how the overall health of a waterway can impact ecosystems living in and around it. The Ignite Excellence Academy students have worked alongside industry and community groups such as CleanCo Queensland, Bremer Catchment Association and the Ipswich City Council to build their understanding of sustainability and environmental awareness and are looking forward to sharing their knowledge with you.

  • Queensland Museum - Marine Experts

    Australia has a huge diversity of marine life, with over 5,000 species of fishes and 10,000 species of crustacea. This display includes a selection of shark and bony fish jaws and skeletons, deep sea crustaceans, and other interesting sea creatures from our specimen vaults.
